Explore Palisades Vineyard in Calistoga during the height of Harvest! Join vineyard owner, Steve Rasmussen, as he leads a hike up the hillside. Soak in views of Napa Valley before descending into Palisades Vineyards.
The hike will continue with a tour of Palisades Vineyard offered by Bob Biale and Steve Rasmussen as they discuss the vineyard’s history and farming practices.
First planted in the 1870s, the 17.5-acre property is situated along the banks of Horns Creek that flows down from the Palisades. These iconic cliffs situated above the town of Calistoga give the vineyard its name. Discover the vineyard’s volcanic and alluvial soils that make this premiere vineyard the ideal place for growing Robert Biale’s Petite Sirah.
Lunch and wine to follow in the vineyard’s courtyard.
