We are in full-harvest swing at Robert Biale Vineyards and as is true with each vintage, we owe much of its success to the dedicated individuals who join us as harvest interns. Our family-operated winery thrives on a collaborative approach, where passion and teamwork converge to produce wines that genuinely embody the spirit of the land.
Our harvest interns are central to this process. Arriving with the late summer, they quickly become immersed in the cellar’s day-to-day activities, infusing their tasks with a blend of youthful energy and fresh perspectives. Their involvement is critical, from meticulously sorting grapes just off the vine, to the precision-driven process of filling barrels. We work closely with historic sites like Monte Rosso Vineyard®, Stagecoach Vineyard®, and Pagani Ranch, and it’s the efforts of the entire team—interns included—that allow us to bring these legendary vineyards to life in a bottle.

The harvest crew works alongside our experienced team, learning through immersion while actively contributing to each vintage. It’s more than just learning technical skills; it’s about becoming part of a team that values every perspective, helping us tackle the dynamic and often unpredictable nature of harvest with flexibility and enthusiasm. Their role in our winemaking journey is truly irreplaceable, and for this, we are profoundly grateful.
